autumn is one of my favorite seasons.
for us, it's a season of coming together as a family to enjoy seasonal traditions, baking, handicrafts, autumn nature walks, sunday dinners and so many other things we truly look forward to.
i've slowly begun gathering materials for autumn handicrafts, a couple seasonal decor items and today i pulled out all of our autumn picture books and read alouds. so i thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite books that we love reading year after year and a couple new ones that we're adding this year.

we are so excited to dive into these reads. my little guy already grabbed one of these books out of our book basket this morning and read it. i should probably grab a couple more from the library before we run out!
we have lots of pumpkin themed books and turkey ones as well, but i'm saving those for october and november. i'll share those with you as well once the time gets a little closer.
